‘Alexandra Leaving’ – Leonard Cohen (Ten New Songs)

Ooo! I got this one right away! Peel Open is an anagram of Penelope, as in Penny Widmore. (Now, if I could only figure out the anagram for “No Baton”…)
And the lyrics are from Leonard Cohen’s “Alexandra Leaving,” a great song choice to associate with Penny and Desmond. “Do not say the moment was imagined; do not stoop to strategies like this…”
I get the feeling, though, that the post isn’t necessarily about Penny and Desmond. Seems more appropriate for Penny and her father. I’ve been wondering what’s going to happen when Penny hears about the Island–and if she finds out about her father’s connection to it.

Uh, I mean “right away” FOR ME, that is. Like I said, I’m not great with anagrams.

Indeed, Mr. Hume is not integral in this particular equation.

is there a Ben connection here? Alex dies…he swears to go after Penny…also they lyrics fit with Ben always having a plan…
