I think the “Three Days” reference once again is a refernce to Comic-con (three days away).

“My son, your daughter” could be a play on the name “Sun”, in which case “your daughter” would refer to Sun and Jin’s daughter, and the viewpoint would be that of Jin … Note too that certain of the lines from “Three Days” also could easily by interpreted as relating to the death/loss of Jin (e.g., “the family weakens by the length we travel”).

This makes me think of Ben, especially his relationship with Rousseau and Alex. I guess the words don’t exactly check out in terms of son/daughter (since it would be “mon fille, votre fille”) but still, the “leader gone” is Ben, and his “adopted stranger” is Alex…

I remember this song being the subject of heated debate in my college creative writing class. While I dozed off people argued whether it was about a drug-fuelled threesome or achieving divine transcendence. LOL.

The use of French makes me think of Rousseau.
